While Dreamscaper has permadeath, all progress you make in the Waking World will persist.

This means that between dreams you can unlock powerful new items to help you advance further in future runs.

Controls

Combat controls are simple in Dreamscaper:

• You mash one button for light attacks and another for heavy attacks, with different animations depending on the weapon you have equipped.
• You also can use 2 abilities, each with their own cooldown.
